FITC honours Best Canadian Developer 2006!

Reuven Cohen wins Best Canadian Developer at the 2006 FITC awards. Reuven Cohen and his wife Brenda were on hand Sunday April 23rd to receive this award for his ongoing work in the Canadian open source and web development community. The Award was given as part of the 2006 FITC Festival.

Now entering its fifth year, FITC < www.fitc.ca/ > is the only Canadian Festival of its kind; combining cutting edge technical speakers with inspirational creative speakers from around the world. Even on the global stage, FITC stands as an original event. FITC attracts attendees and award entrees from around the world. Reuven Cohen's career as an independent web developer and graphic designer spans more then 10 years and 400 websites with Ruv.net < www.ruv.net >. He is currently working with the Toronto-based company Enomaly < www.enomaly.com > as co-founder and lead technologist and has guided Enomaly to become the largest Open Source development companies in Canada. He has developed over 100 open source installations.

Reuven's current and past clients include Dana Farber / Harvard Cancer Center, Deutsche Bank, Tribal DDB, Intel, Oppenheimer Mutual Funds, IQ Financial, Subaru, 20th Century Fox, Businesses for Social Responsibility (BSR), Pier 21 National Historic Site and Red 7 Media.
