Adisoft's Web-based Expense Reporting System

(San Leandro, California - October 31, 2005) Adisoft, Inc. announces the availability of the Expense Submittal SystemTM (ESS) 3.0.6. ESS is a Web-based expense reporting system for corporate travelers and accounting departments. ESS is licensed under the GNU Public License.

"ESS 3 is an enterprise application. These types of applications normally require a team of service professionals to install. With ESS, a single person can perform the installation within an hour," said Karen Chen, Founder, Adisoft, Inc. She added, "We're addressing the supporting software required of a Web-based application by identifying open source component stacks that will support ESS. We've QA'd the installer and ESS process against SpikeSource's Core Stack which will install all the necessary support components and is free. It's a simple two-step process. Once ESS is up and running, the audit and system administrator can easily tweak and customize the package. Functionally, we are competitive with commercially licensed expense reporting packages and services."

ESS is a cost effective alternative for expense report processing. ESS provides report entry, approval routing, automatic policy checking, and credit card statement importation.

A fully functional backend provides A/P and audit staff with automatic compliance checks, G/L feeds, and a reimbursement interface, as well as receipt management. ACH payment file creation is a standard feature. Reports, maintained online, can quickly be checked for compliance to corporate policy, a hot button issue these days.

ESS is a Web-based application which is programmed in Java, Java Server Pages (JSP), HTML and JavaScript. ESS runs under a wide variety of operating systems, servers, and databases.

Information and downloads can be found at Adisoft's Web site (http://www.adisoft-inc.com) or by calling (510) 483-3556.
