Sendmail Expands Email Offering to Include Scheduling and Calendaring Capabilities

Emeryville, Calif. - April 15, 2002 - Sendmail, Inc. a leading provider of email solutions, today announced the release of the Sendmail Calendar Server designed to provide enterprises and service providers with cost-effective, advanced calendaring and scheduling technologies built to grow with an organization's business. With the addition of the Sendmail Calendar Server, the company now offers its customers a carrier-class, user-centric web and wireless solution that provides the freedom to access and manage personal calendars and group schedules from anywhere at anytime. Available immediately, this new offering extends Sendmail, Inc.'s product portfolio and provides the company with the opportunity to take advantage of the growing collaborative application market.

  • Conflict resolution by viewing other users' free/busy time to resolve date conflicts, updating information instantaneously to maintain appointments even in the largest of organizations
