Alcove announces opening of first two European subsidiaries

In November 2000 Alcove opens its first two subsidiaries, in the United-Kingdom (London) and in Spain (Madrid), to offer professional services similar to those developed in France since 1996.

Paris, november 9th 2000 -- Alcove, the leading french company for professional services based upon Linux and Open Source Software, announces the opening of its first two European subsidiaries. Since it was founded in 1996 by Lucien PETIT (CEO) and Christophe LE BARS (CTO), Alcove has established itself as the leading French company in Linux and Open Source based professional services. Many large corporates and large ITbusinesses call on Alcove expertise to integrate Open Source technologies.

In November 2000, Alcove opens its first two subsidiaries in the United-Kingdom (London) and in Spain (Madrid), thus gaining an international dimension. These openings constitute the first step towards Alcove's european expansion. Before the end of 2002, the ambition of the company's management is to position Alcove as the leading European group of Open Source experts.

Through these new subsidiaries, and by focussing on its customers'needs, Alcove will be able to offer professional services similar to those developed in France since 1996.
