Trinity Audio Group Inc.'s Indamixx featuring Transmission 4.0, a custom audio OS aimed at the professional recording and DJ market ships pre-installed on faster Intel Atom based Netbook. Linux based product now available at Retailers such as Musician's Friend and Guitar Center.

Los Angeles, CA (LinuxPR) August 24, 2010 Trinity Audio Group Inc. announces their newest Netbook, a refreshed model that includes Transmission, a custom audio operating system and the faster 1.66 Ghz Intel Atom based CPU. New software additions and updated real-time Linux kernel are the highlights of this best selling product.

"Guitar Center and Musician's Friend are tremendous blessings for our company," says Creative Director Ronald Stewart. "It's a real coup for Linux that big box retailers are understanding the value of open source and are willing to carry non-traditional products in a traditional marketplace," says Stewart.

With improvements such as faster boot times and an updated real time kernel, the Indamixx Netbook takes advantage of a less is more approach when offering what amounts to be a complete recording studio on a small appliance such as a Netbook.

New software additions include Stretchplayer an audio file player that allows a user to change the speed of a song without changing the pitch. "Stretchplayer is ideal for Guitarists," says Stewart.

The Indamixx Netbook model MKII is available now at Guitar Center and Musician's Friend.
