The HeliOS Project, a well-known non profit that builds computers for disadvantaged kids, has caught the attention of 2 local business men.

Austin Texas - The HeliOS Project, a well-known non profit that builds computers for disadvantaged kids, has caught the attention of 2 local business men. The two brothers who own a new car dealership in Austin, heard about The HeliOS Project and have offered to help the organization raise badly needed funds. "With the school year starting, we have dozens of people asking us for computers," Starks states. "While we have most of the machines we need, we are lacking some critical components to get them placed. Mostly computer memory and video cards."

The brothers who ask to remain anonymous have offered to match any donations to The HeliOS Project up to 1000 dollars through September 5th. The HeliOS Project will use the funds to get these computers into the hands of those that need them most.

All donations are tax deductible. If you care to help them meet their goals, you can do so by going to the following website and making your donation, or contact Ken Starks directly at helios@fixedbylinux.com
