  Feb 5th, 23:06 UTC

Presenting New Community Distributions at FOSDEM'10, 6-7 February, Brussels

Zarafa, the fastest growing groupware company in Europe, expects an exponential uptake in the community now that two major community distributions have decided to package Zarafa's Collaboration Platform (ZCP).

The final version of ZCP 6.40.0 release, scheduled to be launched in March 2010, will be available through the Canonical Partner repository for the popular Ubuntu distribution.

This week Fedora gave its legal stamp and will ship ZCP 6.30.x series and final 6.40.0 release with one of the upcoming versions of its Linux distribution.

Bundling Zarafa with Ubuntu and Fedora makes it easy for organizations to install, upgrade and maintain a full-blown, open source groupware stack.

Jeroen van Meeuwen, Fedora Project Developer: "Zarafa shows its commitment by adapting ideas from the community into its product management. It stands out by its clean and maintainable architecture, where you have the flexibility to configure your own mail server, MySQL and Apache Web Server."

Cies Breijs, Zarafa'sRelease & Community Manager: "Both commitment and package contributions by these active communities are very valuable for the growth of Zarafa's Product Lines. We expect an exponential uptake and yielding valuable feedback that will generate benefits for all stakeholders."

At FOSDEM'10, to be held on 6 -7 February in Brussels, Zarafa will demonstrate its new packaging and integration options.
