NoMachine NX Supports Non-Profit's Successful Switch to Linux

NoMachine NX provides Mosaic remote access at a low cost and to meet HIPAA requirements
Rome, Italy, Nov. 3, 2008 - NoMachine, creator of NX remote access and application delivery software, is helping the US non-profit, charity organization, Mosaic, convert to a Linux-based thin client infrastructure. Mosaic's conversion is just one example of a movement by the non-profit industry away from Windows toward Open Source, Linux-based solutions. The benefits experienced are savings, security, performance, and manageability. Because NX uses the SSH public-key encryption, data traffic between the client and server is tunneled through a secure SSH channel. To date, Mosaic has migrated 17 of their 40 offices in six states to Linux with the NX solution, accounting for approximately 400 total users.
