RedHawkTM Real-Time Linux® to Power Over 200 Systems

ATLANTA, GA - 26 AUGUST 2008 - Concurrent (Nasdaq: CCUR), a worldwide leader in real-time Linux-based computing technologies, today announced that Hamilton Sundstrand's Special Test Equipment group is standardizing on Concurrent's RedHawk real-time Linux operating system and NightStarTM advanced Linux tools. Hamilton Sundstrand is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX). The Special Test Equipment group designs, builds and supports propulsion system simulators (used in the development and test of military and commercial engine controls), systems for the development and test of flight controls, engine control monitoring systems for ground and flight test, and simulation systems. It also provides a core software technology for engine test stand and rig test stand control systems. Concurrent's RedHawk Linux will be embedded in all of the engine test stands supported by Hamilton Sundstrand.

The Special Test Equipment group has elected to transition from legacy real-time operating software to RedHawk Linux in all new systems, with plans to upgrade more than 200 existing deployed systems. A significant win for Concurrent, the sale also includes Concurrent's NightStar tools for advanced Linux development and custom engineering by Concurrent's Special Systems team.
