Basic CRM application; New application uses PostgreSQL

Laramie, WY, May 13, 2008: Technalign, Inc. has announced the release of it's community edition of HIATLANTIS, a CRM based on LAPP technologies using PHP and PostgreSQL. The application is a basic rewrite of the previous HIATLANTIS releases, which was written using LAMP technology. It is expected that the CRM will be integrated with it's VoIPTelCaster PBX allowing preemptive dialing for sales forces. The application is expected to continue to be grown depending on demand from the free and paid communities.

The new CRM is being provided due in part to demand by Technalign's partner network and community looking for a simple to use CRM application. The CRM is offered for small and medium sized businesses, and is freely available in English. In addition to serving the needs of small to midsize businesses, HIATLANTIS is flexible and its cost benefits are finding interest from enterprise customers. The open source edition is designed to run on Pioneer MigrationSERVER, PostgreSQL and PHP.

Dianne Ursini, CEO of Technalign, Inc. stated, "We were looking to provide a powerful tool to small businesses using the open source model that allows companies a more effective way to track customer data in real time.". Ursini adds "We've moved to PostgreSQL to minimize the licensing requirements to small businesses who are feeling financial pressures today."

HIATLANTIS will also be available as a hosted service via a Technalign Licensed ASP/Solution Provider. Licensed partners provide the application as a service for those companies who do not want to host the application themselves. Hosted services are provided with both the free and paid versions of the application.

Those using the open source version may receive support from Technalign's partner network as well as from Technalign directly. You can find more information on www.technalign.org pages.

The CRM is available at: www.talinux.com/ha_open_source_final.1.00.00.zip. Support is available via the Technalign forums or via support agreements via partners and direct.
